YES! Summer Work at the Gardner Sacaton Restoration Site Carries Over to Empire High School

This summer, YES! students completed restoration work at the Gardner Sacaton location on Las Cienegas National Conservation Area.

Is it successful? Students from Empire High School in the Vail School District are now monitoring the plants and biocrust that were transferred. So far success is a mixed bag, but the students will continue monitoring throughout the 2016-2017 school year.
