The Cienega Watershed Partnership offers three educational projects, with resources for teachers, families, youth, and other community members:


Educational Opportunities at Las Cienegas National Conservation Area

Resources for visiting, science (water, wildlife, plants, and citizen science), social studies (cultural history, geography, and citizenship in action), and conducting a landscape investigation.

Everyone lives in a watershed, but often we don’t realize how intertwined our lives, histories, health, and futures are with the watersheds we call home. This curriculum offers lesson plans and other resources.

YES! Youth Engaged Stewardship

Engaging youth in leadership, stewardship, and teamwork on public lands in Southern Arizona. The program for youth ages 14-19 takes place over ten sessions during the months of June and July. Applications are due in May.
